A Word for Those Who Feel Suicidal

Several men are sharing their experiences with suicide and mental health issues to broadcast a powerful message, “You are not alone.”

Mental Health Issues

Many people in the world suffer from mental health issues. Suicide is a huge problem in some parts of the world and many men are dealing with suicidal thoughts. In the UK alone, a study shows that around one in eight men struggle with mental health.

To spread the message about mental health, several men have been opening up about their own experiences. Warren Furman, a former gladiator was among these men. Eight years ago, Warren lost his father to suicide and he’s sharing this message to tell people that suicide is never the answer!

“He thought that suicide was the answer but it’s never the answer because you’re not alone and there’s hope,” Warren emphasized.

You Are Not Alone

You are not alone. God is always there for you even in your darkest hours, even when you feel like there seems to be no hope at all.

“We don’t have to live under the curse of death, that’s not God’s plan. In these times now where life doesn’t make any sense where I feel alone, I feel desperate, I pray to God and He comes into my life through His Holy Spirit,” Warren shared.

If you are reading this right now and you feel suicidal and hopeless, talk to somebody! Remember that there’s always hope and you are never alone!

“If you’re feeling suicidal, if you’re feeling there’s no hope, tell somebody, talk to somebody. The good news is, there’s hope and you’re not alone.”
