I know the waiting is not easy for you. All the uncertainties ahead feel crushing in your head. You forget all the worries when you’re with people especially your friends. But when you get home in your room, that’s when reality hits you so hard.
“I feel so alone,” are the words that you say while crying.
Now this is my message to you, dear woman.
Don’t be afraid to come to Him because He will never judge you. Don’t hesitate and just come to Him because God loves to listen to your heart’s cry. It’s okay to feel that way. It’s okay to cry and admit how you feel. Know that God is listening. He doesn’t condemn you and He doesn’t require you to force a smile on your face when you’re not okay. It’s okay to be real and be transparent with God. He cares for you so much and He wants to heal your heart.
“You are not worthy to face God,” you may hear this lie from the enemy. But this is simply a lie and it has no power over you unless you believe it.
I want to tell you that YOU ARE WORTHY.
You are not defined by your mistakes, you are who God says you are. So, even if you think you are so messed up and lost, just boldly come before God. Ask Him to save you from yourself, from the loneliness that you feel. Then ask God to fill that “loneliness” and “brokenness” with His love.
Allow God to embrace you and love you in this moment that you feel alone. Because He is not just God in the mountains but also in the valleys.
It is God’s Word that revealed His heart to those who are lonely and broken. In Psalm 34:18, it says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
And this is God’s promise for you.
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” -Jeremiah 33:3
